Thanks to Paulie Two Thumbs pointing me in the direction of a promotion by BWIN.com I've had another £20 on Inglorious Basterds to win Best Picture. Thanks also to Paulie Two Thumbs for pointing out these awards are happening tomorrow when I thought it was in May.
I'm hearing good things about its chances. Apparently a good indicator of which movie wins this Best Picture award are the SAG awards. The Screen Actors Guild make up a large percentage of the voters in the Academy, so who they vote for in the SAG awards is often who wins the Oscar.
Of course in this case Inglourious Basterds won the SAG award for best picture. Also, apparently a bunch of influential dudes turned up a lunch or something to support the Tarantino movie when they could have been elsewhere doing other things.
Also again with the Jew thing, Christopher Waltz's wee ones are Jewish for some obscure reason and this can only be a good thing.
From just having a random punt, I seem to now stand to win about £750 if this movie wins tomorrow. Tee hee.. fun times.

If you only had £4 in the whole world would you put it on IB for best picture or run to Subway to buy 3 foot sub with extra ketchup?
£4 would only get me a 6" meatball sammich, so I'd probably bet on IB. Although those meatballs are really good. It's a teaser.
