Eyebrow growth mystery

**Cheltenham update...won the first race (Captain Cee Bee), first fence faller in the second (Clopf), finished second in the third (Osana) and won the fourth (An Accordian). That's two more winners I've had this year than the whole of last year's festival. Woot!

Now then, how do eyebrows work? Do they grow continuously like head hair? They can't do can they cause elsewise our eyebrows would be hanging down our faces if we didn't have them cut regular like. But..but though, if you shave an eye brow off, it does grow back don't it?

I got to thinking about this at the barbers when I over heard Dean the barber asking an older gentleman if he wanted his eyebrows trimmed. To need them trimming would suggest they do grow continuously, but but but I don't get why they're not hanging down the face if left untrimmed.

Do they grow to a certain length at a certain speed and then slow right down? How is that possible? Why do they do that? Somebody call somebody god damn it.

Yes by golly you're right, in fact it's actually the head hair and beard that are the exceptions. That makes more sense now, I'll be able to sleep tonight now.

Well played.

But how does it know when to stop?? And how does it know it needs to grow if it's been shaved instead of plucked?
