Election wagers

So now with tomorrow being polling day there really are some awesome opportunities to take advantage of uninformed punters on Betfair who still think America isn't ready to elect a black President (yawn).

Juiciest shocks to look out for in my opinion are for Obama to win Georgia - currently 3.9 on Betfair and Arizona which is McCain's own State - currently at 4.5 on Betfair.

My flying monkey's inform me that Obama needed a turn out of 30% of Georgia's African American population in order to win. So far early voting has that percentage at 35% and it's hard to believe it's not going to increase on Toosday.

Arizona would be funny. McCain has a 2% lead but there's a 3% margin of error. So getting a price of 3.5/1 on what looks like a coin flip is too hard a price to pass up. McCain has not campaigned in his home state assuming it was safe, but with the excpetion of Texas and a few states in the deepest horrible sweaty south, no where is safe.

350+ electoral college votes looks safe too at 1.81.
