Well as predicted my few hours in Luton were essentially a form of self-gelding. I won't offer up the old chestnut of not getting any hands, I surrendered my chips cause I'm an uncompromising nancy-boy at the moment. Julie Andrews could bluff me off a pot at the moment.

As far as our political compasses go if not our sexual interests, paraphiliac infantilist Ghandi and I are pointed in much the same direction. I find this distressing. I remember taking a similar test to this one some years ago and if memory serves I took up an awesome position half way between Hitler and Margaret Thatcher!


What's happened to me since then? It's usually the other way round isn't it? The older you get the more right-wing you become. Certainly there's very few 18 year olds reading the Daily Mail on a regular basis. What accursed influences have turned me into such a mamby-pamby lilly-livered pinko? Thatcher would never let herself bleed to death in a Pro-Am poker tournament I can tell you that for nothing.

Avoiding confrontations is impossible in poker, I needed to attack. It's a war. A WAR!! Thatcher would have been in there raising under the gun with 7-3 off suit - coming over the top with absolute shite.

I chose Ghandi's philosophy though, which essentially advocates drinking tea in a nappy and handing out recipes for lentil curry. Your chips bleed away in the meantime, but at least it's a slow non-violent death. I even lost a hand when I flopped a fucking straight. The nut bollocking straight and I stood by and engineered a way to give my opponent the pot which had a third of my chips in it.

I never once got above my starting chips. That's never happened to me before in a deep stack tournament. Oh no...what if I become a vegetarian!? I'm officially in crisis. I'm going into hiding. At least, I'm going to bed, and I'm not getting out until I'm hungry and badass again. How to take my mind of being such a mincer today though?...
