I knew that barge trip was going to be fraught with chaos. Why do school children burst into song whenever they board coaches in great numbers? Children are foul mouthed cheeky little beasts everywhere except on coaches for school trips when they suddenly turn into scouts and perform rousing renditions of ging-gang-goolly and ten green bottles. Very odd.
