A power cut tonight has denied me access to my computer, to electricity and technology. I have no gas appliances so have been reduced to the level of a primitive. All I have is me people - me and my own resourcefulness - yes it's that bad. Fortunately my iPhone is fully powered up so I still have access to porn and I have a nice sandwich and some Toblerone to keep hungar at bay.
With the temperatures outside and now inside continuing to drop it's anyones guess whether I'll survive. I may end up perfectly preserved and not wake up for 500 years like Buck Rogers in which case if Im to meet Colonel Dearing in her tight uniform thank duck Im wearing my best T-shirt.
Of course only some of this town is subject to this blackout so I could just go over to my Mum and Dad's house for a cup of tea and some steak and chips, but this is more fun.
